Welcome to Silver Strand!

The house has six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. Five of the bedrooms have queen beds, include their own bathroom and have a private balcony with lake view.  Yes chef, there is a large open style kitchen/family room that opens out to a lake facing patio with bbq grill and dining table. There is also a large dining room in the middle of the house that seats 10 people. For the sports and movie lovers, there is a living room with large screen tv that looks out at the lake.  

The house sits out on Sheldrake Point, which means it has a unique view of 20 miles of open lake and you have the privilege of seeing both the sunrise and sunset. There is 50 ft of beach frontage and a nice big dock with a sun deck above the boathouse for swimming, water sports, fishing and relaxation. There are two kayaks, two paddle boards, a row boat, tubes, lifejackets and fishing poles. There is lots of yard space and a driveway for parking 3-4 cars. 

Sheldrake is 20 miles north of Ithaca and half way up Cayuga Lake. This is in the heart of the Cayuga Lake and Seneca Lake wine trails. You can even walk to Sheldrake Point Winery or take our family's wine tour by boat, which leaves from the property. Within 30 mins you can go hiking and see big gorges and beautiful waterfalls at Watkins Glen State Park, Taughannock State Park, Robert Treman and Buttermilk. There are many good restaurants and a grocery store within 15 mins.
